PACE YOURSELF WITH SELF CARE TECHNIQUES

The holiday season is just around the corner and I know first hand this can be an especially stressful time for some. Consider slowing down at least once a day to reflect, take stock and celebrate your everyday accomplishments.

1. Unplug from your phone for a period of timeĀ (believe it or not, people will understand if you don’t respond immediately)

2. Grab your ear buds and listen to music that brings you joy

3. Go for a brisk walk through the crunchy colored leaves

4. Offer more hugs to people you care about

5. Close your eyes, breath, and connect with your body
