We are locally owned by Heidi Johnson – an LMT who has practiced bodywork for over 28 years. Thrive took shape in 2016 after 14 years of operating a private practice in downtown Ann Arbor.
Our mid-size professional therapeutic massage studio is located at 2500 Packard Street in Ann Arbor.

We are open 7 days a week.
Our hours fluctuate depending on demand and LMT schedules.
General Hours of Operation:
7:00AM – 9AM opening window
6PM – 8PM closing window
(We are always closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
General Office Etiquette:
1. Our office is small – without a receptionist – so when entering our lobby we ask that you quietly enter, being mindful of voice volume, hang up your jacket and remove your shoes. Please have a seat, we are anticipating your arrival and someone will greet you shortly.
2. We ask that you always arrive at least 5 minutes early for your appointment because your massage begins promptly at your designated appointment time. If you are a first time client, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to get acquainted. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late after the start of your appointment – you may not get your full session and you are still required to pay the full amount.
3. We reserve the right to ask clients to leave on their undergarments (underwear) during the massage session.
4. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Misconduct: Inappropriate solicitation will result in you being permanently banned from Thrive Massage and reported to the Ann Arbor Police Department; and possible further legal action. We reserve the right to end the session immediately based on any verbal or nonverbal warning signs of inappropriate behavior.
5. Masking is optional for clients and we will take your lead if you’d like us to mask up during your session.
6. We reserve the right to deny service if we suspect a client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
7. We reserve the right to deny service if a client has failed to inform of us of past injuries or full medical health history.
Cancellation Policy
Minimum of 24 Hours Notice
We have a strict cancellation policy and we do enforce it.
50% charge: Illness cancellations reported after 9:00AM on day of your appointment
75% charge: 24 hours or less notice before your appt start time
100% charge: 2 hours or less notice and/or no notice at all
